Fun fact, the titan would have made it out eventually ( most likely downtime ) the only thing we was denied was more carrier kills, it is however a shame the 6 hour battle never got to reach a player made conclusion. Either way a good test run and I look forward to the largest group of capital **** holders throwing them around sometime soon and then posting tears about numbers.
To the OP. when you see the server slowly snapping for 4 hours its clearly not bias and its clearly nothing like the fat finger incident .

Punching Babies Faces wrote:You had 8 hours of supercaps tackled in 3 diff. groups, none in rep range of the other, and you didn't managed to kill A SINGLE SUPER.
Yeah, let's blame ccp
All in rep range, the time they was out of rep range worked out to like 2mins real game time and when we focused on the final titan the game was not even registering damage but thanks for chiming in. |

wat?
If anything, the general cowardice to commit supers from cfc helps pl/nc/n3, as the amount of scrubcaps needed to kill their supers will crash the node everytime.
Yes jumping in a 200 man super fleet to that broken node would have really sealed the deal, if only we was reading the stream chat last night where I am sure you was eagly informing every pubbie that would listen :( Alas we will make sure to look for you next time. |

The real conspiracy here is that kugu goes down when CCP's hardware failed |

Fix tidi by allowing supers to only fit 3 modules "rock" "paper" and "scissors", they can then only engage one hostile super each in a best out of 3.
you're welcome CCP |

So all you guys complaining about CCP being on N3 side and saying "why didnt this happen when BL supers were tackled" - it's really easy.
Everybody hates us, when our titans are tackled everybody and their grandmothers pets form a fleet to kill us. When BL is tackled, nobody comes to safe them (except for RAZOR).
Did you see vee forming a 200 man fleet to get BLs supers out? No. Did you see -A- and DD staying on field to get BLs supers out? No.
I know it sucks that the node crashed, I know our coalition and PL benefited from it, but in the end it was CFC that kept spamming local chat and kept jumping in more and more people.
Good Fight, come again.
I know exactly when both fleets came in and that is the biggest load of bullshit. I'm all for the debate but how about keeping it to facts. The fight started and peaked to about 1900 and by the time the 1st reinforcement fleet got to us it bought the numbers in local to 1700 due to all the euros logging off who had work the next day. The server performance got worse when local was at 1300 odd so what you are smoking I don't know. |

CFC had a 100 man Domi fleet at the start, a mega fleet was bought in to reinforce it totalling another 100 dudes and we had a boat bomber fleet knocking around from the start. If this is us blobbing I would love to see what you think of 600 megas 250 celestis and 100 logi + support.
What I'm saying is your claim is just as dumb as the people who think this was CCP bias. |

Dinsdale Pirannha wrote:gobbybobby wrote:titan would have lasted till DT. CCP did us all a favor by killing the node early so we didn't have to sit and suffer in the horrible 99.99% tidi. Spent 2 hours trying to warp. yer 2 hours! Simple enough solution. You hate TiDi, as any normally thinking human would. Your game time is far to valuable to be sitting doing virtually nothing for 2 hours. Fair enough. So quit the null sec cartel game, and play in FW, or in NPC nullsec, where stupid battles numbering in the 1000s of pilots don't happen, and your fun/hour is many orders of magnitude higher. I love reading from all the null sec cartel propagandists about how null sec sov battles are the thing CCP uses to draw people to the game, and how the null sec warfare is the most attractive piece of the game from a marketing point of view. Would dearly love CCP spin ANY TiDi'ed battle into a marketing tool, unless they crank up the speed 100 fold over what actually occurred. The simple truth is that CCP can never use sov battles as something to lure people to the game, if people actually saw how awful they were. It is one thing to tell media sites "we had 4000 people duking it out in one system". It is quite another to display the true experience.
Before the last few days our corp has been playing frigates in FW lowsec space for a few weeks to pass the time, while it is certainly enjoyable and fun it is not the same as null sec warfare and offering it as a solution does not come close.
The node wasn't reinforced last night because the idea to escalate was spur of the moment and hence we suffered with only 1500 dudes in local ( note, we have had battles over 4000 work far better than last night ) Hence all the whining in this thread is meaningless and pointless. Had it been the CFC in charge of last night's fun we would have reinforced the node anyway due to experience in blob warfare, I'm sure rusrus have now learnt the same lesson and next time N3 may not be so lucky. Its also interesting to note about 6 posters actually tried to call bullshit on CCP in this thread yet we are at 11 pages, food for thought. |
